There will be no issue of the CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE NEWSLETTER on Thursday, November 26th - a special "Thanksgiving" TRIPLE issue will be sent out instead on Friday the 27th, combining the regular issue with the MEMBERS ONLY and CABARET FOR SENIORS issues. But it won't have the "listings section" per se (it will include a listing of all shows giving discounts to CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE members and all the items where folks are running ads on the website). Wishing all a Happy Holiday! Note that many cabaret rooms and piano bars may be closed on this day to permit their employees to attend traditional family gatherings. Be sure to phone ahead if planning to visit any venue.

Top three winners of our BEST CD OF 2009 contest will be announced at our 2nd Annual CDs FOR THE HOLIDAYS PARTY on Monday, November 30th at 7:00 pm at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). The show will be MCd by Jim Speake. Musical director is Tracy Stark. Performers announced to date are Cynthia Crane, Joshua Warr, Booth Daniels, Kathleen France, Sue Matsuki, Edd Clark, Shirley Ritenour, Denise Whittier, Greg Purnhagen, Grace Cosgrove, John Treacy Egan, Gretchen Reinhagen - and one or two more added soon. (performers are subject to change without notice.) We will also be announcing our BEST CDs OF 2009 contest winners. Tickets for the AWARDS PRESENTATION & CDs FOR THE HOLIDAYS show cost $10 for 2009-2010 members, $5 for CABARET FOR SENIORS members and $15 for non-members.
